Adjusting to life again...as we know it!

Hi friends!!

It's been 4 weeks since we've been back, but it feels like 4 days! Jet-lag is definitely no longer an excuse, but we're still pretty exhausted! We finally found an apartment (loooong story!), and our internet was connected for the first time this week (finally)! (Having no internet makes me feel so disconnected to the world!)

MOVING
Moving in also took forever because we had to remember what we owned before we left, dig it all out/find it from our parents home, and transport it over to our new place. And being the "packrat" that I am (yes, I keep everything!!), we uncovered a whole of lot "junk" that all belonged to us. Our poor parents homes -- a place of "storage" our stuff for 2 whole years.

GETTING CONNECTED...
It's so great to be back in the U.S. of A. But we are definitely not used to the pace of life here... everything seems overwhelming. I feel like a little "hillbilly" coming to the big city for the first time in my life. There's so many people I want to see and visit, but haven't been able to.

Now that we are planning to stay here for at least a year (to adjust to life with a baby)... hopefully, this will give us time to see everyone we missed for the last two years.

BABY NEWS
Last but not least... we just found out that our baby is a GIRL! She will arrive sometime middle of November.
