Howdy! We are back!

Howdy! After traveling over 18 hours, we’ve successfully crossed the Pacific ocean and have made it back safely to the great state of Texas! We got back on Monday, and since then, our prime time is between the hours of 3AM and 7AM (the middle of the night). Besides recovering from jet-lag, we’re also trying to re-orient ourselves to life in America. To top off all the errands we have to run, Lilly received a warm welcome from the U.S. government with a call to jury duty this coming week!

SAYING FAREWELL
It’s hard to believe that our 2 years in East Asia has now officially come to a close. It was truly heart-wrenching saying farewell to our local friends, not knowing whether we’ll see them again in this lifetime. Leading up to the days of leaving, we had local friends hanging out and spending the nights in our home, saying farewell to us at 6am in the morning as we caught a cab to the airport. As our cab drove away in early dawn of the morning, we could see them standing behind with tears in their eyes… and it really finally hit us that our 2 year journey was ending.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We will be in H-town for at least one year. We hope to get to reconnect and see many of you while we are here! =)

Until the next update...
