Formal Complaints

Though there is no doubt that Jocelyn loves her little brother...there have been some formal complaints.

First complaint: Evan pulled my hair!

She goes to tell me (in Vietnamese). Then she goes to daddy to tell him too (in Cantonese). Apparently, she really wants to make this vexing issue known.

We tell her that little brother doesn't mean it. We tell her that she needs not stick her face in his face...and at the age where he's finally learning how to grab...

Then, second complaint: Evan kicked me.

Yes, Jocelyn. Like we said, don't stick your face or hover over him.

Okay, should we put him in time-out?

Jocelyn: YES.

Okay, so we take little brother and lay him in the corner for a bit (for time-out).

She's happy. Problem solved (for now).

(Lucky for us, Evan doesn't complain... he doesn't really know yet he was put in time-out...as a 3-month-old baby.)

Poor Evan, that had to be the world record for youngest person to be put in time-out.

haha - I'm surprised Ben hasn't thought about using the time out trick. Jocelyn is too smart :)

So she speaks Vietnamese and Cantonese. You guys live in New England. You, Lilly, are East/Southeast Asian. Are you the actual Dragon Mom?
