Evan means "young warrior" and in some translations, also "God is gracious". Quan means warrior/soldier in Vietnamese and Cantonese. We pray that he will be a brave soldier for Christ.
It just so also happens that Evan was the name that his older sister could pronounce the best of all we threw at her. :)
